MINUTES :
The
Secretary wishes to record that the two working meetings held on the
16th September 1998- Mapping and on 20th October- The Anniversary, will
not be formally minuted. The minutes for the meeting of the 7th October
were used to progress this meeting.
1 Harlow Development
Steve K has phoned Tony Morton Harlow DC and he will be sending updates
on the development adjacent to Gilden Way.
2 Bridgefoot House
Concern was expressed at the level of destructive work that is taking
place on a listed building. Liz G was asked via Michael B if she could
investigate the situation.
3 The Anniversary
The Memorial Hall has been booked for the 5th March 1999 for an evening
function to celebrate and promote our first year.
3.1 Promotional ideas discussed:
Sending
out New Year cards asking people to put 5/3/99 in their diaries; to
lead Louise and Jake. See addendum for list of associations and people
to invite.

banner in Bell Street; Warren R to lead.
Advert
or article in the Church and Town; Monya B to lead.
Print
A5 fliers; Steve K to compose, house distribution by members or Post
Office- L36 per 1000. Display in schools Doctors Dentists, Community
Centres, shops, and Railway Station.
